Join us for a virtual workshop on Fall Prevention and Protection. Falls from heights have remained one of the leading causes of workplace fatalities for many years. Our training covers life-saving best practices and PPE for preventing falls from heights on the job site. The focus of the training is fall protection in residential construction, discussing scaffolding, ladders and roofs. Our expert trainers have years of experience both on the job site and in the classroom. We h...ave led trainings for construction companies, contractors, city agencies, and building trades unions. This training has a focus on residential construction, but contains information that applies to any construction site or any worksite where falls from heights may occur. Who Should Attend? Labor/Management health and safety committee members and professionals, supervisors, risk managers, construction workers, union representatives, employers including small employers and contractors. The Office of Councilmember Thomas @isaiahthomas4philly will be presenting Resource Hubbs (After School Programs) throughout the city for Youth ages 14-21. This program is designed to help youth by giving them the support and resources they need during these difficult times. The program runs from October 15th-November 28th every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday and Friday 4:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday 11am-3pm. The program will take place at churches and recreation centers.
