Come join the Borough of Steelton for a costume parade on Saturday, October 31. The parade will begin at the Locust Street steps and end at the Prince of Peace parish for their Trunk or Treat event. Please wear your costume and join in the fun!! See you there!

The Borough of Steelton, along with the Hygienic School for Colored Children Committee, is proud to invite the public to the unveiling of the monument commemorating the history of the school and its students since its inception. The program will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the corner of Bailey and Adams Streets, the former site of the school. Adams Street is now known as Frank S. Brown Blvd. This will be a rain or shine event. The event will featu...re former students who once walked the halls of the school, and they will be sharing memories from their time of attendance, before the school was closed in 1958 (Brown vs the Board of Education). We ask that you share this information with the public, family and friends. For more information please contact the Borough Office at 717-939-9842 during regular business hours.

Since tomorrow is trash day in Steelton, just a reminder how trash cans should NOT look when set aside for pick-up. If you need additional cans, call the City of Harrisburg directly or call Libby in the Borough Codes Office at 717-939-1146 for assistance. The City and the Borough are enforcing the trash ordinance and will only issue one Notice of Violation before issuing citations. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Please join Borough Council, Congressman Scott Perry and the Dauphin County Commissioners in celebrating Phase II of Steelton's Skate Park on Friday, August 21 at 9:30 am. The ceremony to be held at Steelton's Municipal Park will celebrate construction on Phase II and participants will have an opportunity to view the latest changes. We look forward to seeing you there!!!
