It is with crushing sadness to announce the passing of Cocoa the camel. Cocoa had a non-contagious and incurable bone disease that caused thickening of his lower jaw and severe gum and dental problems. We tried everything we could to manage his symptoms but it became clear that he couldn’t live a normal camel life and it was time to let him pass. Part of loving and caring for animals is making a commitment to know when to say goodbye before their quality of life becomes poo...r. He will be greatly missed by myself, his loving staff, his camel pals and guests. Thank you to everyone that enjoyed my little Cocoa-mo -Lynn
