Edwina Brennan, Philadelphia artist, ARTsister and longtime member of Artists Equity (served as co-president with Mary Kane) passed away today. She was born in ...1931. For many years she was affiliated with 3rd Street Gallery. Saddened by our loss, and by the loss to the art community, we celebrate the energetic artwork she created which was illustrative of her dynamic personality. We will miss her. See more

It is with heavy hearts that we report Edwina "Eddie" Brennan, our former long-time 3rd Street Gallery member and friend, passed away on June 9 peacefully at her home at the age of 88. Edwina. Edwina was extremely active in the arts community. I will be sharing ARTsisters post that has many of her amazing works. She will be missed.

Tomorrow Fleisher Art Memorial we are kicking off 6 weeks of Youth classes online. Nicole Patrice 3rd Street member will be teaching 6-7th Grade Art Journaling: Your World in Watercolor and Ink at 2 pm with a focus on how the Artist Frida Kahlo used watercolors. Class runs 50 min.
