Our next Learn to Skate session will start on Sunday November 1, 2020 at 9:30am and runs for six weeks. Registration deadline is October 30. You must be a member of Learn To Skate USA to register. Did You Know? The Rink at Lehigh Valley has dedicated public skating times on weekends. Saturdays 8:15pm to 10pm Sundays 2pm to 3:30pm Admission $7 rental skates $3

Our Developmental Ice Hockey program starts this Thursday Oct. 8 from 6pm to 7pm and runs thru Jan. 14. Players must be 12 and under or have little skating ability. We focus on developing the player’s abilities through repetition, and proper technique demonstration of drills. We then further increase your child’s playing ability and knowledge of the game by having controlled scrimmages. Finally and most importantly we make it FUN for the kids! Rink at Lehigh Valley Covid Policy The Rink at Lehigh Valley will open for the 2020-2021 season on Monday August 10. Due to the Covid-19 virus, we have established the following rules and procedures: If you, your son or daughter are feeling symptoms please stay home. Social distance guidelines must be followed if entering the arena. If using the facility please maintain proper hygiene guidelines. Masks must be worn at all times when inside the building. Spectators may not en...ter the arena to congregate inside the building. For all hockey events: After changing in your designated locker room and the surface is ready to be used you may take your mask off in the locker room and enter the ice surface. NO WAITING IN HALLWAY FOR ZAMBONI TO BE DONE. After your event is over promptly put your mask back on in the locker room and get ready to leave in a timely manner. For all other skating events: Masks must be worn at all times. Parents/Guardians: We ask that you drop your child off at the rink and not enter the arena. If you must enter to dress your child, make a payment, or any other reason a mask must be worn at all times. After your task is complete you need to promptly leave the arena and wait for your child’s session to be over. Here is our weekly schedule: Stick N Puck: Mondays and Thursday 3:30pm to 4:30pm. $7 per person, goalies are free. Adult Open Hockey: Fridays 10am to noon. $5 per player, goalies are free. Open Hockey: Saturdays 10:15pm to midnight. $12 per player, goalies are free. Public Skate: Saturdays 8:15pm to 10pm and Sundays 2:30pm to 3:30pm. $7 admission, 3 for rental skates. Reminder that the AAHA has canceled evaluations for squirt and peewee levels for March 23 and 27. No new date has been announced yet.

Gov. Tom Wolf ordered a state shutdown of non-essential businesses. The Rink at Lehigh Valley is currently closed and will reopen Monday March 30. All current learn to skate, hockey clinics, adult spring league and other programs will resume as soon as we return to our normal operations. If you have any questions email [email protected]. Our top priority is keeping the skating community and our team members safe through this time. The Rink at Lehigh Valley will remain open and we are monitoring the situation closely. We are completing a high level cleaning of the public areas as well as the locker rooms and will continue to follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting. We will continue to be extra vigilant with regular cleanings of all high touch surfaces and areas to kill germs and ensure our facilities are as safe as possible for the public. We are closely monitoring developments and will continue to put everyone’s safety as our top priority.
