A huge shout out to Taylor's Doughboy and the Northwestern Community! Over the past 5 days, your tips at Taylor's Doughboy in Albion, were donated to the Albion Area Lions Club, and through your generosity, we received a check in the amount of $799.00 Sunday night. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Accepting the check from Tawney Price and Tabby Fain of Taylor's were Lion Bob Rabell and Lion Greg Pintea. This donation will help to aid the Albion Area Lions Club mission to continue to help the various programs throughout the Northwestern School District. Thank you again!!!!!!
The Albion Area Lions Club is proud to announce the 2 Scholarship winners for 2020. Congratulations to Christie Sawin and Julia Wheeler. Both Northwestern High School Seniors were awarded certificates today from the Vice President of the club, Lion Greg Pintea. We wish both of these scholars the very best in the future.
After much discussion it is with great regret that we must inform you that the Albion Area Lions Club annual Golf Tournament has been cancelled for this year due to the Corona Virus. This decision was made for the safety of everyone and we hope and pray that all who have supported us in the past are safe. We appreciate your understanding of this difficult decision we were forced to make with our annual fundraiser. Stay safe everyone and we can all be together again in 2021. Thank you, Albion Lions Club Members
The Albion Area Lions Club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Lion Dave Davis, who was tragically killed today following an automobile accident. Lion Dave was a dedicated man to his family, his church, his Lions Club, the Albion Fire Department, and to his community. Lion Dave will be deeply missed by all who knew it served with him. Rest in Peace, Lion Dave.
