Mr Jitto Arulampalam
Jitto Arulampalam who is the current Executive Chairman of TBG Diagnostics (ASX: TDL) is a Melbourne based businessman with over 20 years of extensive experience in corporate restructuring, capital raising, listing and running of public companies on the ASX. Having started his career in Accounting, Jitto spent more than 8 years with Westpac Banking Corporation in several key operational and strategic Banking roles before joining boards of Public companies. In 2004 Jitto was head hunted by Newsnet Ltd as its CEO to assist in the restructuring of the company and to position it for an IPO. Since this appointment he was responsible for guiding the company through a successful restructure and positioned Newsnet as a leading innovator in the messaging/telco space to be recognised by the 2006 Australian Financial Review MIS Magazine as one of the “Top 25 global rising stars”. In May 2010 Jitto co‐founded ASX listed potash mining and exploration company Fortis Mining Ltd (ASX: FMJ). As the Executive Chairman, Jitto was instrumental in the company’s acquisition of world class potash assets in Kazakhstan, a monumental deal which ultimately led to the company being awarded “IPO of the Year 2011”. Jitto was also previously the Chairman of ASX listed companies Great Western Exploration Ltd (ASX: GTE) and Medicvision Limited (ASX: MVH). Jitto is a member of many professionals bodies including the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Ms Emily Lee
Emily Lee has been the Managing Director of the Company since March 2014.
Emily has results-based experience in corporate and business relationship management in the biotechnology field. She serves as Managing Director of Mercer Capital, a boutique private equity firm based in Melbourne. She was instrumental in leading a successful underwriting and capital raising exceeding $5 million for an ASXlisted biotech company. She was previously Non- Executive Chairman at Australian Natural ProteinsLimited from July 2014 until February 2015. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company. Directors (MAICD) Ms. Lee has been a Director of the Company since June 11, 2013.
Emily is a Melbourne based businesswoman with a substantial track record of success in the corporate and government sectors in Australia and Asia.
Ms Alison Coutts
Alison has extensive experience across a number of industry sectors and disciplines. This includes international engineering project management in large oil and gas projects with the Bechtel Corporation in the UK, USA and NZ, strategy consulting, management training and organisational structuring with the Boston Consulting Group, and executive search with Egon Zehnder. For a year she also lectured in Physical Chemistry at the University of the West Indies in Barbados.
Alison is formerly Chair of CSIRO’s Health Sector Advisory Council and was a founder and director of eG Capital, which was a preeminent financial advisory firm in the Australian Life Sciences sector.
Most recently, Alison has focused on advising and raising capital for a number of emerging technology companies. In addition to the above, she has also founded a clinical stage drug development company and two medical device companies.
Alison has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and an MBA with Distinction from the Melbourne Business School, where she also won the CRA prize in Business Policy. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology from the University of Melbourne. Alison is also Executive Chairman of NuSep Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of DataDot Ltd.
Mr Supun Wimalanath
General Manager Technical/Mining
Prior to joining the Company, Supun was the Senior Technical Officer (Geology) with the Sri Lankan Geological Survey and Mines Bureau (GSMB).
Since joining GSMB in 2008, Supun’s main activities and responsibilities included geological exploration (graphite and mineral sands), environmental impact assessments, site planning and project co-ordination.
Supun also has extensive experience in advising foreign companies on how to best plan graphite exploration and mining activities in Sri Lanka.
