We’ve waited a LONG TIME to be able to make this post, but as of June 5th Westmoreland County will move into the Green Phase and Abstract Tattoo will be reopening! At this time we would like to outline the new guidelines for appointments and overall shop interaction. 1.) All appointments will be made over the phone, internet or at the close of your current scheduled appointment.... 2.) At this time we are not taking any walk-in traffic. For an appointment or any inquiries you may have please call the shop, message us here or get in touch with your individual artist personally prior to coming. 3.) Please come alone to your appointment! No guests are permitted at this time as we will still be trying to minimize person to person interaction in our close quarters. 4.) Please be prepared to come to your appointment with a mask or face covering. We plan to have some at the shop as well but would appreciate you bringing your own. 5.) Appointments cancelled due to quarantine will be first priority in rescheduling. Once all these spots have been filled we will be opening our books to new appointments. We have missed each other, the shop and especially all of you and cannot wait to get back to doing what we love!

10 years ago on April 14th my family and I lost our hero, our father James Jap Guerra. His heart and larger than life personality are remembered fondly by those who knew him. When the time came to choose his gravestone we were told hand etching was a option but would be expensive. The owner of the company saw I was a artist and suggested I shadow their etcher for a couple nights and practice on my own to possibly mark the stone. It happened and was the scariest moment of my life..looking back it’s the most important thing artistically I’ve ever done, and meant everything to honor him one last time. @ Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania

Had a blast yesterday Pittsburgh Tattoo Expo! Met some great artists and finally after 3 years could show the infamous CANDY MAN aka SLUDGE FUDGE the painting I did of him from a photo we took. Our paths crossed at another convention and he left quite the impression! @ Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square
