These contributions will be used for the purchase of the K9, training for both the Officer and K9, training supplies and gear, outfitting the patrol vehicle, medical aid, ballistic vest, and other expenses... for the K9. Helping the Public Works Department with these simple tips will allow them to keep the roads clear. 1. Township roads are first priority for snow removal; followed by developments then cul-de-sacs. 2. We encourage residents to remove their vehicles from the street in order for the plows and/or emergency vehicles to pass through.... 3. Mailbox access must be cleared for postal service. Adams Township repairs or replaces only a mailbox and/or post that is actually struck by the plow blade. Usually a paint mark or truck tire tracks supply evidence of a mailbox strike. Adams Township does not repair or replace mailboxes and/or posts that fall from the force of plowed snow. Mailboxes and supporting posts must be installed to withstand the rigors of snow removal, including the force of snow pushed from the street onto the roadside 4. Please avoid shoveling and throwing snow onto the roadway.

One of Adams Township's goals for 2020 is to be more transparent with our residents and community on what is taking place in the Township. There has been numerous inquiries about the retention pond and drainage issues along Route 228 across from the entrance of Adams Ridge Boulevard. All of the current work at this location is to fix drainage issues. At this time, we are currently not aware of any future development at this location.
