It is with deepest regrets that we announce the passing of Aspinwall Firefighter Warren "Wardog" VanEvery. Warren joined our ranks in 2005 and always kept the... fire department first in his heart. He was a good firefighter and friend. His presence will be missed. Funeral arrangements are not available at this time, but will be posted as soon as we have them. We keep his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. Rest easy Brother; We'll take it from here.

Earlier today one of our local fire firefighters noted on Facebook that they were out of water at the fire station. The post was specifically about bottled w...ater which is carried on the apparatus for crews to drink at emergency calls throughout the year. This resource is especially important during these warmer summer months. Many don’t realize that our fire departments are volunteers and many are supported primarily by fundraisers the larger of which, like many other things, have had to be canceled this year and most emergency services are feeling the hit financially. So while a case of water may only cost a few dollars the numerous cases which are needed by these departments, as well as ours, can become a significant cost when income is already drastically down. On your next trip to the grocery store please consider picking up a case of water and dropping it off at your local fire or ems station. These small contributions are greatly appreciated.
