Altrusa is making their famous Peanut Butter Krispie chocolate egg again, they are delicious below pictures show the process...thank you Altrusa sisters, Hubbies and our volunteers... Let me know if you want some, they’re only there for a couple of weeks!!

We enjoyed Our Hands On Summer Projects on August 4, which included making no-sew lap or regular blankets and creating sight words for the children at Sylvan Heights Charter Science School. Meeting site was at Our Saviour Lutheran Church on Progress Ave. We had a good turnout of Altrusans and 2 Altrousers (Al and Dan) and our youngest volunteer, Karina who all pitched in to work on these two projects. In just a few hours we hand-tied 15 lap blankets which will go to a homeless shelter, and made numerous alphabet booklets on a ring for the Kindergarten children at Sylvan Heights school. We also folded and stapled booklets for the children. We all went home with a feeling of accomplishment.
