Nov. 13, 2020. Amanda’s Dad Amanda fashioning her new comforter set. She is continuing to grow and gain in her rehabilitation. She is enthusiastic and full of laughter. Maybe that’s Gods built in coping mechanism, to keep her emotionally fit. There’s a lot that I will never understand about why or how this happened. I know that it has pulled us as a family together and renewed relationships beyond what anyone could have imagined. Our God is a powerful God, and with praise and glory anything can be achieved. Your prayers and thoughts are always with us, as I in particular sense it all the time. Thank you all and please have a blessed day and weekend.

Hello all!! I apologize that it’s been a few weeks since I’ve updated the page. Amanda has been very busy with her therapy and we’ve been finding our way back to some normalcy in our lives. Amanda’s making great strides in her recovery , both physically and cognitively. She had an neuro- ophthalmologist appointment today, so we stopped by Rodney’s in Irwin for lunch. We never could have imagined what we’ve gained since she come home. Thanks again for all your love and prayers.

October 20, 2020 Amanda has been doing extremely well getting re-acclimated to life. I remember when she went to Mercy TBI Rehab Institute back in August. I kept telling Amanda that I wanted her to work hard so she could be home for my birthday. We she did so in record time on Oct. 1. Well here we celebrating my birthday this evening. These children and grandkids make me the wealthiest man in the world. I can tell you that at 55 years old, I’m still learning. I’ve learned a lot, like patience, the power of prayer, and to reiterate what’s important in life and not take anything for granted, even life itself. The kids always choose the most fitting cards, but I have to share the card that Amanda picked out today. Thank you all for your continued prayers, we feel it everyday in Amanda’s recovery.
