Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for 'Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam.' Aisha said, 'What is As-Sam?' He said, 'Death." [Al-Bukhari: Book 71 Hadith No. 591] It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: In the black seed is healing for every disease except death. [Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5364; Muslim, 2215.]
