Short and Long-Term Disability POSITION SUMMARY: The position is a full-time position based in Rochester Mills, PA. The candidate is responsible for receiving payments, cash applications, calculating discounts, daily balancing, audit research, interacting with customers in person and by phone, and taking fuel orders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Apply payments to commercial and residential customers' accounts. Accurately calculate fuel discounts Process credit card payments Perform research from previous years to assist in company and bank audits Take customer orders by phone and in person, using our company script to make sure all necessary information is received from the customer. Ability to learn new technology underlying our accounts receivable and Order entry system Assist customers with billing, subsidy, or delivery questions Uphold American Natural’s highest customer service principles, and show professionalism and respect in the workplace Minimal basic and general accounting work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: 2+ years general data entry or billing experience Customer service experience a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing, and provide relevant and timely information to customers as well as colleagues Ability to understand problems and make timely, practical business decisions.
