"The health of your tree is directly related to its growing environment. Keep the roots healthy and viable by not driving over them, cutting indiscriminately or placing black plastic over the ground on top of them."

With the amount of snow we had last month, a lot of homeowners are seeing ‘snow mold’ on their lawns a fungal disease from prolonged snow covering the grass. This will go away on its own, but a good way to help the damage recover faster will be to gently rake the affected areas to loosen any matted grass. This will help the lawn dry and give unaffected grass room to grow. If you have questions about snow mold or any other lawn, tree, or landscape issue, give us a call at 717-393-7602. We look forward to hearing from you!
