Wobble baby, wobble baby, wobble baby, wobble, yeah! We don’t mean to poke fun but one of our fosters, Milo, has the cutest, wobbly walk! Milo has a moderat...e case of CH (Cerebellar hypoplasia) so in addition to his wobbly walk, he has a head bob and uncoordinated movements. His condition doesn’t cause him any pain or discomfort and besides being a little clumsy, he’s perfectly healthy! He is going to remain in foster for the time being, but we are looking for a home that is knowledgeable and understanding of special needs cats. Milos ideal home would be one without stairs, a lot of carpeted area (tile and wood floors are super slippery for him!) and without large or energetic animals that may run or knock him over. Add a little SPICE Last week, we placed FOUR pregnant moms into foster. Last night, momma Phoebe gave birth to four healthy kittens. With the two litters... we’ve already accepted, this brings our 2021 kitten count to 14. We’re hoping to make 2021 kitten season even more successful than 2020. More kittens and pregnant moms saved, more kittens adopted, more fosters added and LESS unwanted cats and kittens! Stay tuned! We have some fun posts planned to raise awareness about kitten season and will be inviting YOU to participate!
