All eligible patients who received Moderna vaccination for their original Covid vaccination may call the office to schedule their booster vaccines.

Yesterday we had our second annual Drive Thru Flu Vaccine Clinic. We are thankful for Mother Nature giving us another beautiful day and a wonderful staff who made everything run smoothly.

Since March we have been offering Moderna First and Second Shots in office. We will continue to offer that service to any unvaccinated adult 18 and over. Soon we will begin offering Pfizer Booster shots as well as Pfizer first and second shots for patients 12 to 17. Please call the office to schedule.

Come Saturday to Our Drive Thru Flu Clinic in the Office Parking Lot. Established patients only. No appointments needed. If you know you are definitely coming give us a call so we can make sure we have enough vaccine available but call aheads are not required.

If you received Pfizer we are recommending Academy Pharmacy on Academy Road ( 215-632-2121). Immunocompromised individuals include those who: * Are in active treatment for solid tumor and hematologic malignancies * Are recipients of solid-organ transplant and taking immunosuppressive therapy * Are recipients of CAR-T-cell or hematopoietic stem cell transplant (within 2 years of transplantation or taking immunosuppression therapy) * Have moderate or severe primary immunodeficiency (e.g., DiGeorge, Wiskott-Aldrich syndromes) * Have advanced or untreated HIV infection * Are in active treatment with high-dose corticosteroids (i.e., 20mg prednisone or equivalent per day), alkylating agents, antimetabolites, transplant-related immunosuppressive drugs, cancer chemotherapeutic agents classified as severely immunosuppressive, TNF blockers, and other biologic agents that are immunosuppressive or immunomodulatory Reminder: The authorization for an additional vaccine dose does not apply to people who are not immunocompromised

A contact tracer may ask for verification of your date of birth (meaning they already have it and will tell you it - do not offer thus info), your address and any other phone numbers you may have. As the COVID numbers spike again in our area test results are now taking up to 6 to 7 days to come back from the labs which is frighteningly frustrating for patients and for us as your doctors. We have been looking into possibly purchasing a 15 minute in office test but it would be a substantial financial investment during an uncertain time and likely not covered by most insurances. We are wondering if patients would be willing to pay out of pocket approximately $60 to know within 15 minutes their test results. We would appreciate any thoughts before we make this investment. It will take a few weeks for the machine to arrive if we decide to move forward, just as an FYI but we are anticipating a greater need come fall as well especially if schools reopen.
