#RIP Sr. Francis Anne. Underlying Francis Anne’s gifts and her productive contributions to the health care community was her belief in and ability to live out of her Franciscan vocation. In her reflection on the occasion of her diamond jubilee, Francis Ann wrote, For me, being a Franciscan means being happy in whatever I do. I’ve loved our sisters all my life and I love them just as much today as I did in the beginning. If I could do it all over again, I definitely would.
#RIP Sr. Eileen Walsh, who was known for her kindness, her efforts to be considerate of others, and her willingness to help others in any way she could. She had a great sense of humor and a winning smile. May she rest in peace in the arms of her Lord.
Our sisters at Assisi House, otherwise known as the Powerhouse of Prayer, are praying. Please join us.
Today we remember and pray for all those who lost loved ones on this day 19 years ago. We also pray for the continued efforts of the heroes of our nation--first responders, police, firefighters, healthcare workers, military, etc. May we come together today as a nation in peace and unity.
Rest in peace Sr. Bernard Helene McGuire. Bernard, during your years in education as well as in community living, your giftedness and your gentle spirit reflected images of the God whom you served.
Rest in peace Sr. Marie Cecilia Irwin.

Celebrating our 2020 Jubilarians! Below is a photo from our 2019 Jubilee celebration held last June. On a sad note, due to Covid-19, our 2020 June congregation...al celebration of the jubilarians had to be postponed and will be celebrated next year with the 2021 group. However, this also gives this year’s group another year to keep their celebration alive! Please hold them in your prayers. To view a list of the 2020 jubilarians, visit our website: https://osfphila.org/about/our-jubilarians/. If you know any of them, I'm sure they would love to hear from you with some words of encouragement during this very challenging and unique jubilee year. See more
