This terrific public art project featuring Miles' work will be coming down in about one week. So if you can, we strongly encourage you to go see it in person at 608 S. Millvale Ave in Bloomfield. Seeing his work up close in this public space is a powerful way to honor Miles' memory and appreciate his talent. We give thanks to Darrell Kinsel at BOOM Concepts and Sidewall: A Mural Project for their continued support and good work.

Atypical Arts presented Meklit in Jacksonville a couple of years ago. The show was sold out and the audience fell in love with the artist! This new recording is goosebump inducing for the power of both words and performance. Kudos to Meklit and Kronos for giving us this musical gift. Do not skip past...listen!

Back in late February, Burnt Sugar The Arkestra Chamber performed the score to Shaft live at the Apollo. I had the great opportunity to sit down and speak with ...the legendary Mr. Greg Tate and two members of Burnt Sugar, Mr. Bruce Mack and Jared Michael Nickerson.
