Restoration on a multigenerational home in Maryland. Updating and expanding while keeping the charm of an early 1900’s mountain home. @ Pen Mar Park, Maryland
Now that June 8th has been announced as the official opening of Half Pint Creamery in McSherrystown we thought it appropriate to share the finished product. The effort put forth by the owners of the creamery should not be understated. While our team completed a good portion of the work, they put countless hours of labor and sweat equity into seeing it through. The opening will be sweet, in more than one way. Congratulations!
First and second floor interior renovation of an existing office building on York st. in Gettysburg. This project primarily focused on organizing multiple dated offices into one functioning updated space for Remax to occupy.
Renovation completed in early 2020. New kitchen, added a wood burning fireplace hardwood flooring, and custom millwork.
Spending some time outdoors designing our next project.

Summer of 2019 we started a lake front house in Lake Meade. Unfortunately we have been delayed in making a yard and didn't snap any exterior pictures yet. So here's the interior pictures! With a few progress pictures.

New local brewery added to historic Gettysburg. This building has had many uses over the years including most recently an auto parts store. The interior and most of the exterior was demo'd leaving just a shell. Very little was left untouched. The final product is a must see, and of course try.
Addition and renovation to an existing home in Gettysburg completed with Roost Architecture. This project was certainly complex in nature. The scope included reworking the existing house to create some additional bedrooms. The master bath was relocated and 2 new bathrooms were added into the new addition. We also completed a 2 car garage. Photographed are the new areas completed during the project.
Today we're happy to be launching a refreshed website. Click on over to markaustinbuilding.com and take a look!
Thanks to everyone who helped to make 2019 a great year. All of our employees, customers, sub contractors, and suppliers. Have a great new year. We’ll see you all in 2020!
An exciting project we completed in 2019. This is in house design build project unique in that we used an existing foundation to base our new home on. The process started with a desire to do something different on Lake Heritage. It led to this finished product that we are very proud of.

Brothers Wade and Drew Leedy say opening Fourscore Beer Co. on July 31 was the big payoff. Five years of dreaming, planning, and clearing hurdles added up--to the brewpub known as Fourscore. http://celebrategettysburg.com/fourscore-beer/
One of our latest projects open for business! Congratulations RE/MAX of Gettysburg.
Exactly one year ago we started construction on this little brewpub here in historic Gettysburg. The building was in disrepair and quite an eyesore, we often wo...ndered why we didn’t just knock it all down and start over. Safe to say it’s come a long way and looks a little better now! #drinklocal #eatlocal #craftbeer #scratchkitchen #brewpub #repurpose #remodel #getpoured #gettysburg See more

Join us for an open house at the site of Gen. Robert E. Lee’s headquarters in Gettysburg on September 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come and see the Trust's preservation of the house and grounds, which served as Gen. Lee’s command center during the battle.
Renovation and addition to better marry an 1800's farmhouse with its 1900's expansion. The project included original farmhouse renovation, sunroom addition, and second floor addition. The first floor of the farm house was completely removed and reconstructed. This opened it to accommodate a new much larger kitchen. The second floor addition brining the two pieces together housed a bedroom and contemporary staircase. Roost Architecture was the designing architect on this project.
Check out a house we rehabbed in downtown Baltimore somewhere around 2001. We stripped it down to a shell and started completely over.
