Avis Fire Company #1

Avis Fire Co. No. 1 just recently completed outfitting ATV 8. This ATV was funded in part by a generous donation from Wayne Twp. Landfill, PA Skills as well the continued support from the local community during fundraisers . This ATV will provide services to the local area to fight wildfires and assist in patient transport in rural areas. We would like to thank RM Customs for the great work on the lighting package, Jersey Shore TEMS team for assisting in purchasing the medical bag, as well as Dotterer Equipment for assisting in purchasing the Kubota.

Congratulations to the winners of our December gun calendar! Keep ahold of you calendars through the month of January as we will be raffling off the remaining prizes through January only! Thank you to all those who bought calendars.

With the snow beginning to fall and the roads beginning to get covered we ask you to use caution when driving on the snow covered roads today and tomorrow. Surfaces are starting to get slippery and several accidents have already been reported. Please slow down, and if you encounter emergency apparatus on the roads, whether it has red lights, blue lights, or amber lights, slow down even more and move over.
