THE 146 PEACE OFFICERS who GAVE the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE in the LINE OF DUTY IN 2019 THE 77 PEACE OFFICERS who GAVE the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE SO FAR THIS YEAR 2020. TODAY WE HONOR THE 1029 PENNSYLVANIA PEACE OFFICERS that who have fallen and given the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE in the LINE OF DUTY. TODAY WE HONOR the FAMILIES of the FALLEN OFFICERS WE must REMEMBER the lifetime of sacrifices endured by the SURVIVORS the FAMILIES the FRIENDS- and CO-WORKERS of our FALLEN BROTHERS/SISTERS. Their lives MUST continue onward without their loved ones. A LIFE that is CHANGED FOREVER. An average of 59,000 PEACE OFFICERS are assaulted in the LINE OF DUTY yearly in the United States causing over 17,000 injuries. Many times, the injuries leading to career ending and life changing disabilities. Injuries and disabilities that not only affect the Officers but also their families. PEACE OFFICERS are the check stop that maintains a Democracy in a Nation we call home. We attempt to maintain a structured society. To enforce the Laws set by the elected officials of our Government to keep our communities safe. WE CHOSE THIS LIFE- THIS OCCUPATION- TO FIGHT EVIL TO WEAR THESE UNIFORMS TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED TO MAINTAIN ORDER IN SOCIETY. We see the bad and Evil that some afflict on others. We endure more than 5.2 million violent crimes committed yearly on our Nations Streets. We know the sacrifices that we must give- what we must endure BUT: WE DON’T CHOOSE THE WRATH that is purposely targeted at us or bestowed upon us. NO one goes to work intending of making the Ultimate Sacrifice today of not returning home to their loved ones- their families. Yet some make that ULTIMATE SACRIFICE. GOD BLESS ALL that have fallen and paid the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE. WE MUST ensure that the sacrifice of our law Enforcement Heroes whom protect our communities and safeguard our Democracy are never forgotten. It is their service that keeps us safe on our streets and safe in our homes at night LEST WE FORGET ... MAY THEY REST IN PEACE.

BAHS Criminal Justice Club 26.10.2020

Our food service will be providing meals during the two week shutdown. The Bradford Area School District will be serving a pre-packaged lunch (including milk)... during the mandatory school closure. Children who are enrolled in the closed schools along with their siblings under the age of 18 that reside in the same household are eligible to participate. The participating students and siblings must be present to receive the lunch. The lunches will be distributed from 11:00 am to Noon Monday thru Friday at the High School auditorium entrance and at Fretz Middle School’s main entrance. The Bradford Area School District does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex or handicap in employment practices or in administration of an of its education programs and activities in accordance with applicable federal statutes and regulations.
