We got a new mixer in the kitchen! It doesn't pull it's weight, but it does keep me on track! This was probably my favorite gift from Christmas and I can't stop watching the cupcake swing below! What was your favorite gift you got, or gave, this holiday?

Happy National Cookie Day! I always post cookies... but this was special. I did a wedding cake for a friend who doesn't like cake... half was carrot cake (groom's fav) and half was a cookie!

I have not had a moment to post and tell you guys TODAY at @aurochsbrewing we will be hanging out and selling some GF goodies to compliment your GF beer and holiday celebrating! 4-7pm Aurochs Brewery 8321 Ohio River Blvd, Emsworth PA... I know it might be a small gathering, but that doesn't mean you can't have the best in gluten-free! We will have limited quantities of things, but while supplies last, if you come and buy some beer, we'll throw in some pumpkin roll ends (the edges we have to cut off to fit in the box! ) so you can have your snack cake while getting ready for the holiday.

If weekends aren't for experimental baking, I don't know what is. This is a pumpkin mascarpone bundt cake, adapted from a recipe from my bundt baking class I took through @williamssonoma. I think I am starting to get the hang of bundt pans. Haha What are you baking up this holiday season? Should I try to roll out a mini bundt cake for Christmas?

I had a black and yellow sprinkle mix (#pittsburghsports) and a jar of just orange pumpkins... so I ran out and got these purple sequins and BAM! These little acorn cinna-sugar cookies went over pretty well this weekend! I love doing cute little surprises for you guys at markets. This week I have a wedding to do, which will give me a little less flexibility, but it'll be our LAST regular week at The Block at Northway (Friday) until December 11! So if you're near there and you want to shop... and even freeze some things for November, come visit us!

Because i LOVE color, I think my feed is full of cupcakes because they are the most colorful! I would make everything colorful if I thought people could get on board with... bright orange snickerdoodles? But you can grab these bright yellow lemon cupcakes today if you come visit me soon!
