This year the Foundation celebrates our 35th Anniversary and is excited to share a recent renovation project in the Ed Schaughency Theater (known to many as the Little Theater over the years). The Foundation supports many different projects throughout the District which are made possible through established funds. The new flooring project was funded through the Ed Schaughency Memorial Fund. This fund was established in memory of Edwin Lester Schaughency, a Beaver High School graduate, Class of 1920. Ed was a broadcaster at KDKA radio and television for 48 years, from 1932 1980.

This fund was developed out of necessity at the beginning of the pandemic in March and April, and continues to play a vital role in helping students in our district.
