At 6:42pm an Allentown resident endured police violence by the Allentown Police Department. This man was in crisis and was treated with no RESPECT by St.Lukes Hospital & APD. The victim was asking for help and was treated like HIS LIFE DID NOT MATTER. We want answers. Our community is tired of grieving. Exhausted from being expose to trauma and demand justice for the victim and every BIPOC life that is affected by police brutality. Thank you to all of the community leaders an...d countless others who led the action last night in Allentown. Thank you for your commitment to Black People. We empower you all to start a movement. This is a virtual experience co-sponsored by South Side Initiative and the Lehigh Valley Engaged Humanities Consortium. This is something we are very excited to bring to the Lehigh Valley to spotlight Black artists and their work. We hope to inspire more conversations of racial injustices through the power of art.
