Blue Santa gift givers: Due to Thursday’s impending snow storm we have moved the deadline up one day. All gifts are due to the branch by 3pm Wednesday December 16th. We have a great virtual classes schedule from all River Valley Regional branches. Try a new class or your normal ones! All you need is to log in to www.rvrymca.org and your membership number.

Yep we are doing it again this year!!! Join before January 31st and get your 24/7 key fob for just $5! No additional fees to your membership...nothing...just the cost of the fob. It gives you 24/7 access AND during less busy times to maintain social distance! Please note:24/7 is currently closed due to Governor's mandate and is expected to reopen January 4th.

Blue Santa Gifters: someone will be at the branch at minimum between the hours of 9am-3pm this week, weather permitting. You can drop your gifts off during that time. Thank you to all who took a tag from our tree. Your generosity and Christmas spirit is what this season is all about. We appreciate you!

As we celebrate the end of 2020 and look forward to what the New Year may bring, let’s look back and remember the good things from this past year. First and foremost, we would like to thank our members, volunteers and staff who stayed with us and supported our efforts to keep our community strong. You are what made everything we did possible. The River Valley Regional YMCA found new ways to serve not only our members, but our community as well. We partnered with other organiz...ations to serve food and supplies to those in need. We worked with the American Red Cross to host blood drives and help combat blood shortages. We reached out to our senior members for well-checks, and provided online wellness resources. Once we were able to open our Child Care Facilities we gave children a safe place while parents went back to work and provided School Age Child Care while schools were remote. We learned how to be creative with spacing out equipment and following all the guidelines given to us. A few branch specific highlights include: Our Bradford County Branch successfully moved to being a 24 hour facility providing more time for members to come in due to limited capacity. We are excited to announce the Tioga County Branch will soon be 24 hours as well! The Williamsport Branch helped more than 50 local families with food and gifts for Christmas and the Eastern Lycoming Branch held a warm clothing drive for families in their Safe Spaces Program. The Lock Haven Branch held a drive-up food pantry and our Jersey Shore Branch helped distribute thousands of free student lunches. Over the Edge Williamsport 2020 climbed to new heights with a rappel from the roof of the Genetti Hotel in downtown Williamsport. We look forward to planning Over the Edge 2021 with the YWCA of Northcentral PA and the Williamsport Area School District Education Foundation.
