This can make the surface hard, which can compress the roots. We can help avoid this with a thorough aeration service. We just remove small plugs of soil from the surface which allows the remainder of it to breathe. Aeration helps release the pressure and loosens the soil, allowing the grass roots to grow and spread. The end result is a healthy and happy lawn! ? Thatch is the natural organic matter that falls on the soil surface.
