Edinboro University recognizes Juneteenth, and celebrates the anniversary of the end of slavery in the U.S. Governor Wolf has designated Friday, June 19, 2020, ...as a special holiday for state agencies called in observance of Juneteenth National Freedom Day. Edinboro fully supports the action, recognizing the importance of this observance as together we strive for justice and equity in our society. Business offices will be closed as we mark this holiday. Let us all reflect on our responsibility as individuals and as a community to do all that we can to ensure justice, equality and respect for all.
