We have updated our event schedule. Please read below or see the attached image. UPDATED Event Schedule: 8:00 am: Registration and Breakfast... Pre-prepared individually wrapped breakfast, coffee, tea, and juices will be available. All participants must complete the COVID-19 waiver if one has not been submitted in advance. 9:00 am: Presentation of Making A Difference Award to Michael J. Barnes and Recognition of Sponsors 9:30 am: Shot-gun start Scramble format, double bogie limit (We will not have mulligans this year.) Courtesy cart will be on the course to serve you throughout the day. 12:00 pm: Lunch served on the course. At the conclusion of golf, we will tally the scores and present our winners with their prizes. Participants will have a choice of to-go style meal, including appetizer, salad, drink, and dessert to go. We will be reaching out for golfers’ meal preferences (Prime Rib, Salmon, Vegetarian, Other Restrictions). Unfortunately, we will not be having the dinner only participation option this year. UPDATE: DATE CHANGED The Samuel Staten, Sr. Charitable Trust will hold its 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Spring Mill Country Club... in Ivyland, PA. The outing is being held in honor of Mr. Michael Barnes, Business Manager of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) Local #8 Philadelphia. IATSE Local No. 8 IATSE He will be presented with the Making A Difference Award at the evening banquet by Samuel Staten, Jr. Business Manager LIUNA Local Union #332 and Secretary-Treasurer of Laborers’ District Council of the Metropolitan Area of Philadelphia and Vicinity. Our founder, Samuel Staten, Sr., who passed away in 2016, would be proud of the accomplishments of the charity that bears his name. Thanks to our dedicated sponsors and participants’ continued commitment to this cause helped the Samuel Staten, Sr. Charitable Trust to raise over $2,500,000 in the past 20 years. Registration is now open for this event that has become known for great golf, exceptional prizes and amazing exposure for its sponsors. The Eagles Autism Challenge is dedicated to raising funds for innovative research and programs to help unlock the mystery of autism by providing the necessary resources to doctors and scientists at leading institutions to assist those currently affected by autism as well as future generations.
