Have a look at what our artists have created over the past few weeks! Our Pre-K through 5th graders learned about René Magritte, a surrealist painter, and they created their own interpretations of his work, and some are even attempting their own surreal works of art! Many of our students have finished still lives, acrylic and watercolor paintings, and much more. With only a short time left in the fall session, we can’t wait to see what else these artists will do! #art #artclass #artclassesforkids

It’s time for another Alumni Tuesday! Today we are hearing from alum Billy Miller! Read his story below. I was a student at Blooming Artist from the 7th grade until I graduated high school, and now I come back to assist Miss Nora with some of her evening classes! I am currently a junior at Temple University studying Marketing, and even though I don’t always have the time, I still love to make art. My favorite medium is acrylics, and landscapes are my go-to paintings. I’ll always be grateful for the friends I’ve made and the things I’ve learned at Blooming Artist! As we begin our fifth week of fall classes, take a look at what our artists have created so far! We’ve been working with many mediums, including watercolors, acrylics, pencils, colored pencils, and chalk pastels. Our students have also finished their interpretations of Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam, as well as beautiful autumn trees! We can’t wait to see what else they’ll create! #art #artclass #artclassesforkids

Take a look at what our amazing artists have been working on this week! Our Pre-K and Kindergarteners finished their color wheels. Our 1st through 5th graders are learning about Michelangelo, and drawing upside down like him too! And finally, our 6th through 8th graders are working on grid illustrations.
