In the automotive world there is a word for an old vehicle that is called a barn find. A vehicle that was stored away and forgotten until one day someone rediscovers or stumbles upon it . Or someone tries to validate a rumor of a car last seen or hidden many, many years ago. The BLRHS has a barn find of it's own, A rare GE 50 ton center cab that is stored away in Youngstown Ohio. This locomotive was donated to the BLRHS this year and we need your help. We are asking and accepting donations to move this locomotive to the West Pittsburg Station. If you can help make this move a reality with a donation please go to our website at www.blrhsinc.org for that information. We thank you for your generosity in preserving railroad history.

We keep on growing. Yesterday at the Station in West Pittsburg our volunteers are hard at work adding more track. As you can see there is many steps in laying track before the trains start to rolling. With the great fall weather we've been having that we've been blessed to get so much work done. If you like what you're seeing please like() our posts and share them with with your friends and family. (Photos courtesy of Don Harper)
