Wobble Trap is closed today February 23 2021

We are looking for scorekeepers for two of our events this year. The first one is coming up quick it is our Iron Man shoot scheduled for May 1 2021 Saturday. This is a one-day event with two courses each course will have 100 targets for a 200 bird event. We will need 18 Scorekeepers split between the White and Blue courses. If you're able to help with this shoot please email Tammy at [email protected] Summer Blast event held in August from 6th to 8th Friday, Saturday an...d Sunday and we are possibly looking for people to help all three days. if anyone is interested in helping with this three-day event please email Tammy at [email protected] The helpers for these events will be compensated with a key card with targets to shoot at Blue Ridge. Lunch will be provided to all helpers please get back to me ASAP

We at Blue Ridge Sportsman Club would like to thank all the shooters who have come out and supported the club through all the chaos this year. Today was our last day to be open to the public for Sporting Clay's. Remember Wobble Trap open every Tuesday 2 to 7pm and 5 stand open every Wednesday 2 to 7 pm. We will be open January 16 for the winter league course we will have a 50 target course that you can shoot at a cost of $17 Our Sporting Clay course will reopen on March 6t...h 2021 till December 18th 2021. We are open to the public for all shoots except special events. If you're a member of the club you should be getting the new calendar for the New Year soon in the mail. Please be sure to check your calendar often for special events plus any registered shoots we are hosting. I'll be updating the online site and adding Golf carts to the summer blast shoot with an ending date for rentals once I have all information needed. Look for this change on the web site. Outlaw Static Steel Shoot November 7, 2020 Registration 8:00 - 8:45, Range Briefing 8:45, Shoot Starts 9:00 This is a friendly shoot open to all skill levels and is also 22LR friendly. Blue Ridge Sportsman Club will be having our inaugural "Low Light Falling Steel Shoot" on Friday, November 20th starting at 6pm. The 4 stages will be the same designs as will be used the following day for our regular monthly falling steel match. The stages will be similar to those pictured. Registration for both events will be open soon on Practiscore.com. The amount of light we are providing will simulate a bright moon or dim city street lights. This will not be a total darkness event. The use of night sights, hand held flashlights, weapons mounted lights, red dot sights, or iron sights is permitted. Bring a head lamp or flashlight to use while reloading magazines, etc. This is a fun event with no payback. This is a centerfire event.

These are the stages for this weekend's falling steel match. Sign in opens at 8 Saturday morning. Hammer down at 9. Walk ons are welcome.
