BlueSky Paragliding

We’ve had excellent conditions both Monday and Tuesday all the new students got The first training he’ll flights. Each student flew 5-6 flights each day. Frank and Brandon both successfully performed their first perfect landings. Marcilio and Herbert demonstrated weight shift in flight and personally flew 6 to 8 launches in landings. Robert had his first flights with the winds blowing in perfectly. Herbert and Brian flew several times from the mountain and demonstrated aircraft approach and landed within the required 25 feet of the Designated Target. Tuesday evening 19 pilots and students flew in perfectly smooth glass off conditions for about two hours. Tuesday evening Most of the pilots and students stayed till sunset ,enjoying some beers and took photos of the comet from lunch.

Joe Anderson's flight on Saturday. He said he flew for just shy of about 2 hours. Once he climbed to 2,000 ft the air got nice and smooth. Launch is at 1,300 msl. So basically from launch up to about 700 feet over launch the air was a little bumpy, then once he got above the compression zone, it smoothed out. https://www.facebook.com/1000071224892//2651199995127391/
