The borough has been notified by the trash hauler that due to inclement weather and anticipated road conditions, trash will not be picked up Monday or Tuesday, and recycling is canceled this week. On Wednesday they hope to pick up all of Monday’s and Tuesday’s trash. Depending on how much they can collect Wednesday, they will resume the normal schedule on Thursday. Please do not put out any trash until Tuesday night. Should this change we will update you as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience. Borough Council is proud to announce our new neighbor! Council worked hard to find the perfect fit for this property and our community. This represents the largest reinvestment of a property in borough history. Glenolden borough is the place to be, and we are excited by all of the new development our town is attracting!

A record number of families are in need this year. Boro Council and the Mayor were happy to provide 25 Thanksgiving meals, including turkeys to residents in need. This was made possible by an anonymous donor who waned to help some in our community that might be struggling. Happy Thanksgiving to all !

Thanks to the Shade Tree Commission for another great tree planting! This weekend they were able to plant more trees in our parks, and around boro hall. Council is committed to keeping Glenolden green. In the last few years the boro has funded over 100 new trees, with plans for even more!
