Josh Verbanets is a Pittsburgh-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist, best known as the front-man for hometown indie rock band Meeting of Important People and as one-half of celebrated children's performing duo Josh & Gab. Josh has recorded with producer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine), starred in a viral cardboard city music video, visited over 300 Pittsburgh-area schools as... part of a musical-comedy bullying awareness campaign, received honors as one of Pittsburgh's "40 Under 40" by Pittsburgh Magazine, and has shared the staged with renowned artists such as Ok Go, Dean & Britta, and Guster. Episode 15: Marya Kaminski Marya Sea Kaminski is a theater artist based in Pittsburgh, where she serves as the artistic director of the Pittsburgh Public Theater. She combines her experience as a director, writer, solo performer, and scenic designer to create theatrical experiences that connect us more deeply to one another and to this unique moment in time. She is a founding co-artistic director of the Washington Ensemble Theater, whe...re she produced over a dozen regional and world premieres. And from 2014 to 2018, Kaminski served as the associate artistic director at Seattle Rep where she founded Public Works Seattle, an artistic initiative that creates large-scale works of participatory theater founded in authentic, long-term civic partnerships. She has taught and lectured on theater and performance at the University of Washington, Hollins University, and Cornish College of the Arts, where she was honored by the students with their annual award for teaching excellence. Gayle has performed regionally in New York, Ohio, and West Virginia, and locally with Bricolage, Quantum Theatre, PICT Classic Theatre, No Name Players, ...Caravan Theatre, and Arcade Comedy Theater. As a playwright, Gayle’s work has been featured with Bricolage’s Midnight Radio series (most recently, Die Hard, N'at), No Name Players'; SWAN Day, Organic Theater Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Filmmakers'; Film Kitchen, and the Future Ten 10-minute play festival. Her first full-length play, Andromeda, received a featured workshop production at the 2016 Arkansas New Play Festival at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
