Did you love Singles in Agriculture and are now looking for more streamed online events? Just kidding, your day is not the same as yesterday! The movie Groundhog Day focuses on Phil, a TV Anchor who has to cover the annual Groundhog’s Day Festival in Punxsutawney, PA. The next day, he wakes up only to have his day repeated over and over again. The movie was turned into a musical by the same name in 2016, complete with incredible stunts that allow Phil to be in multiple places at once! : ydr.com

Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah. One musical that mentions the holiday (there are not that many!) is Caroline, or Change, which has a whole song about preparations and customs for the Hanukkah party. Chag Sameach to all who celebrate! :chabad.com

On this day in 1965, the first A Charlie Brown Christmas aired on CBS. Developed by Charles M. Schultz, the movie featured the Peanuts Characters who had been made famous from a weekly comic strip. The movie contained both christmas scenes and winter scenes, and unlike most other animated movies, it did not have a laugh track. After the success of this movie, even more 30- minute Charlie Brown shorts were created. Observe today by watching A Charlie Brown Christmas!

Happy Birthday to Sara Bareilles. Bareilles had a successful pop music career before writing the music and lyrics for Waitress on Broadway. Waitress added one more TONY Award and one more Grammy to her collection of awards. She also wrote music for the Spongebob Squarepants musical. In addition to writing music, she has acted in musicals, playing the lead in Waitress and Mary in Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert. Currently, you can see some of her work in the show Little Voices on Apple TV!
