Brunner's Garage

So last Thursday, I was driving down 5th Avenue and coming to a stop, with my foot pressed down on the brake. As I stopped a few feet behind the car in front of... me, my car's engined revved twice (no, my foot was not also on the gas pedal) and then the car lurched forward. Brakes didn't work, and I came to a stop only after my car hit the car in front of me. It was like something out of Stephen King's "Christine." I thought I had gone mad. Turns out, thanks to some ace detective work by Mike at Brunner's Garage, this can be an issue with some Mazda's - the manufacturer even sent him a bulletin on how to fix it. So thankful that it was just a fender bender, no one was hurt, and we are blessed to know such a great mechanic.
