DUE TO PA STATE COVID MITIGATION MANDATE BCRC CLOSED SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2020 THRU SUNDAY, JANUARY 3, 2021 Dear BCRC Customers:... In response to Governor Tom Wolf’s announcement yesterday (Thursday, December 10th) concerning the spread of COVID-19, we will be closing our doors Saturday, December 12, 2020 until Monday, January 4th, 2021. His public statement in alignment with Health Secretary Rachel Levine stated all indoor fitness is prohibited, December 12th starting at 12:01AM. He went on to elaborate the decision was made in accordance with a study by Yale University that showed "closing businesses like gyms and fitness centers was among consistent policies found to reduce fatality rates". The decision came after the recent rise in COVID-19 cases. We officially reopen on Monday, January 4th, 2021 when the government order is lifted as scheduled. All programs including Winter Tennis Academy, Contract Courts and Leagues will begin that day. We respectfully ask for everyone's patience while we update our brochures and timelines accordingly and we will inform everyone of these adjusted dates over the next few weeks. All the BCRC staff is looking forward to the new year when we can once again open our doors and welcome you back. We wish you all a happy and healthy holiday.

A big thank you to the Upper Makefield Police department for always being there for us! We had 2 incidents recently in our parking lot that we wanted to share with our customers to remind them that they should always lock their car and not leave valuables in plain sight. A week ago one of our employee's car was broken into and had items stolen. Within the same hour 911 was called and officers were able to quickly review surveillance footage of the incident captured by our ...Club’s security system. The description was shared with all local law enforcement. Lower Makefield officers located the subject matching the description walking along the canal path in their jurisdiction. The subject was positively identified as the one seen in the video and was subsequently arrested, charged, arraigned, and remanded to the Bucks County Prison. A week later, a young male on a bicycle was peeking in cars in our lot, but nothing was stolen. Our staff witnessed this individual and, again, our security footage was able to identify the male for the police and he was questioned. This is a great example of working together with local law enforcement to keep our community safe. See more
