It has sugar, Mace, Marjoram, Lemmon Zest, Minced Garlic And Ground Mustard. Homemade soup this week is Winter Comfort and it’s made with chicken broth, potatoes,, carrots, onion, celery, milk, cream Cheese, Basil. Oct. 23rd , 2020 I don’t want to throw life away but I can not wait till 2020 and this election is over ! I believe this has been the worst year I’ve ever lived through with family members passing away, having to put our dog down, illnesses, hearing people fighting over this election , .Covid , riots, flooding, etc. OK enough boo hooping on this. Bill and Art have been wondering with you all as customers how many are still having a group Thanksgiving and Christmas with family... or friends because of this Covid. .Who all is staying home and having small dinners ? We just don’t know how to start placing our orders for Turkeys. We were told large Turkeys might be hard to get cause the farmers raising them don’t know what to do either. Any thoughts from anyone ? We don’t even know what sizes we can get. This week we have Fresh Kielbasa, Garlic Hot, Pork/Beef, Blueberry, Sharp Prov./Sweet Basil Sausage. There is a little coffee shop, where two people arrive and approached the counter. Five coffees please. Two for us and three hanging. They paid, they took ...their two coffees and left. I asked the waiter. "What’s this about hanging coffees?" Wait and you'll see." Some more people came in. Two girls asked for a coffee each, they paid & left. The following order was for seven coffees and it was made by three women - ‘three for them and four hanging coffees.’ I was left wondering...what is the meaning of the hanging coffees, they leave. Then, a man dressed in worn clothes, who looks like he might be homeless, arrives at the counter and asks sincerely... Do you have a coffee hanging?" Yes we do, sir. They serve him a coffee.... I got my answer. People pay in advance for a coffee that will be served to whoever can't afford a hot drink. This tradition started in Naples. Amazingly, it has spread throughout the world’s cities and towns. It’s also possible to order not only "hanging coffees" but also a sandwich or a full low cost meal. Wouldn’t it be great if we could all start doing this in the cities and towns where we live? Small kindnesses like this can impact so many lives, in ways we could never imagine. Maybe we should all try it. @Suspended coffees

Thurs. Oct 15, 2020 I’ve never wished for time to pass by as I do for this year with the Covid and Election Year , riotings. This has brought so much fighting between families and friends. It seems like everyone is right and everyone is wrong. It’s been a sad year for sure with people out of work etc. I want this year done and over with. Several months ago a gentleman tipped our workers for our job waiting on him. With that tip we decided to pay it forward to an older woman t...hat comes in. She had us all in tears . She has 15.00 for the month to eat after her bills and rent. She couldn’t believe the kindness someone showed. Then another gentleman came in handed us money and told us to pay it forward to a customer he picked out. That customer was overjoyed, went out to her car and sat with tears until she could safely drive. This has snowballed into something kind and meaningful. We cannot count the times we’ve payed forward .I had a lady ask us if we really pay it forward or do we keep it. We are honest and every bit of what we collect gets paid forward to police officers, people in the medical field, and ones that need it most. I don’t know for sure as to how much Burts Farms has paid forward from our Customers but I can tell you how it’s been appreciated through the year. To all the people that’s been payed forward to ,,,all has said THANK YOU. Just wanted to let you know. Ok now, this week we made Apple Sausage, Garlic Parm., Hot Italian, Sweet Italian, and Pork/Beef. Soups later today will be Tomato Tortellini, maybe Chili. Soup won’t get done it I don’t get to work.
