"Dr. Adams was great, very patient and shows true concern for the patient. I went in for a tooth extraction and have had absolutely NO pain from the procedure. The ladies there are all wonderful and very helpful. Absolutely would recommend!!"

Do you have jaw pain, swollen or tender gums, bad breath, or discomfort opening your mouth? Nine out of 10 people have at least one impacted wisdom tooth, and if left untreated, impacted teeth can damage neighboring teeth, become infected and even transfer bacteria into the bloodstream. Call our office today to schedule a consultation to evaluate your wisdom teeth! (717)519-5297

Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that develop in our late teens or early twenties. Sometimes these teeth can be a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned and require removal. When wisdom teeth are misaligned, they may position themselves horizontally, be angled toward or away from the second molars, or be angled inward or outward. Poor alignment of wisdom teeth can crowd or damage adjacent teeth, the... jawbone, or nerves. Wisdom teeth also can be impacted -- they are enclosed within the soft tissue and/or the jawbone or only partially break through or erupt through the gum. Partial eruption of the wisdom teeth allows an opening for bacteria to enter around the tooth and cause an infection, which results in pain, swelling, jaw stiffness, and general illness. Partially erupted teeth are also more prone to tooth decay and gum disease, because their hard-to-reach location and awkward positioning makes brushing and flossing difficult. Call our office today to schedule your wisdom teeth evaluation!

"Friendly competent staff! Rarely have to wait"

Campus Oral Maxillofacial Surgery 10.09.2020

"Excellent experience from start to finish. I scheduled an appointment for molar extraction and implant prep. They were able to get me in the same week. Little to no wait time when I arrived. Clear communication on out of pocket expense prior to any work being done. Every staff member was polite and patience. Dr. Adams answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this practice."

Dr. Katch participated in the Annual Central American Relief Effort golf fundraiser. His team, comprised of Ray Butterworth, Tim Schultz, and Tim Whalen, won this years event! CARE does a great job with medical, dental, and education relief in Honduras. Way to go, Dr. Katch!

Dr. Katch had the pleasure of meeting the founder of Operation Scarlet, a non-profit organization that provides medical care and forever homes for abandoned and abused Chinese Shar-Pei dogs. To date the organization has rescued 1,285 Shar-Pei. Please consider visiting their website, http://operationscarlet.com/, for more information and donations!

"My case was not an easy one. It was implants or dentures for me. I knew this would require surgery and great skill. I applaud every team member at Campus Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery! Doctor Adams placed four implants and in collaboration with my prosthodontist gave me back the confidence, smile and the ability to eat foods that I would not have been able to eat with dentures. Every single person in this office was kind, professional, and treated me with care and respect. Doctors Adams and Katch are extremely kind and professional. They both have my highest recommendation. Thank you all!"
