PSA: Groomers DO NOT enjoy shaving dogs. Short cuts are harder to make look good and are no fun at all. On the left we have a doodle whose owner told me, we d...id the best we could brushing him during quarantine, we want him left fluffy, as I’m running my hands over rock-solid matts on his entire body, including his face. I informed her he would be nakeyyyyyy. She wasn’t happy, I wasn’t happy, though the pupper was happy and that’s goal #1. *photo is his shave down before the bath, didn’t get an after* On the right is a doodle whose owner told me the same thing, we did the best we could brushing him during quarantine, we want him left fluffy. This doodle had minor matting around his head and feet, that’s it. Both have very similar coats, both about the same size, but one owner put the work in while the other very obviously didn’t. We want to give you the style you want, but you have to do the work to maintain a long, fluffy coat, which means running a COMB through the dog every other day at the very least.
