Students at CANTARE are busy writing and producing an OPERA! During this Summer Class they learnt all about opera and opera singers throughout the ages. Then they created their own using selection of the 28 Italian songs and arias. Links to our video opera will be shared here in mid August. Many of my voice students at CANTARE are singers with the Pennsylvania Girlchoir and the Keystone State Boychoir (together, the Commonwealth Youthchoirs) and I have the pleasure of working as the voice teacher for PG. Both my children were part of the choirs too and benefited from countless invaluable musical and growth experiences, including a number of international tours. These are strange and difficult times for all of us, especially for music organizations, but we strive... to continue our mission to educate, share and transform lives through music.
