Jason Martin here to explain some of Caskey Group's digital printing capabilities. Printing has been the backbone of our business since 1986! Starting in our Digital Printing Department, we've got brand new Ricoh equipment with lots of great features. The Ricoh 7210 prints up to 27.5" x 13", which gives all types of capabilities from stringers, to brochures, variable printing, and lots of other features with this digital printer. This particular machine is very unique in tha...t it prints metallics and white ink, which allows for some really cool special effects. We also have the capability to print with fluorescent inks, including yellows, pinks, reds and everything in between. Printing with white ink is a major feature of this machine. This allows to print white directly on colored stocks and it creates an amazing effect. These are all digital, short-run capabilities! Our Ricoh 9210 has the same size capabilities. This allows for long, 6-page brochures. Spot clear gloss is another option with this printer. Our Plockmatic creates square-back binding, and saddle stitching for items such as magazines and books. We can run cover stock and inside text pages and then bind everything in line. With our black and white Ricoh machine, we are ready to print your next one color project, and score and cut with our Duplo machine. One of the main features of the Duplo is that there is a lot less cracking with full coverage inks. The Duplo cutter offers impressive card cutting capabilities and guaranteed precision. 2020 Salesperson of the Year Each year the Caskey Group presents a trophy to the Sales Representative who obtains the most new accounts in a given year. Our 2020 salesman of the year is Austin Rife! Austin sent over 3,000 letters out and converted 106 new clients into the Caskey Group in 2020. Way to go Austin! 2020 Employee of the Year The highest award you can win each year at the Caskey Group is the Employee of the Year. The only way you can win the honor is by your co-workers voting for you. It takes a special person to win the award. You must be someone who works well with others, shows leadership, and is willing to go above and beyond to win the award. Our employee of the year shows all these traits and more. She started at the Caskey Group on August 15, 2014. She is a quie...t leader and has a let’s get er done attitude. She is as solid as they come. The employee of the year was responsible for mailing 832 different orders in the mail department with 8,111,096 pieces of mail coming through her hands in 2020. We have been offering mail services since 1999, and in all the years we have been offering mailing services, no one has been a better ink jet operator than the employee of the year. She works hard to make sure the work is accurate and is completed on time before going home each day. She fills in and helps throughout the bindery when asked to do so. She works overtime on weekends when needed and is truly a team player with every employee who works with her. She recently took an excel class to learn more about how data was coming to her. It is a testament to her willingness to go above and beyond to be the best she can be. She is a wonderful leader in our Mail department, and we are thankful to have her here at Caskey.
