Santa stopped by the Catasauqua Library early this year! For the first 24 children, ages 3 and up, there's lots of fun things to do in this Holiday Craft Bag! There's a Dr. Seuss "Things All About Me!" poster and 2 Dr. Seuss bookmarks to color, as well as the snowman markers and crayons that you will need! There's also a wonderful flocked winter scene that can be colored. Maybe best of all- There's an adorable little toy moose to keep you company while you are coloring! Call us at 610-264-4151 to tell us you are on your way. We are a Contactless Library. Your goodies will be waiting for you on a shelf in the Library foyer and your child's name will be on the bag!

The Catasauqua Library Board of Trustees and Staff regret to inform you that a member of the Library Staff has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, the Library is closed until December 8, 2020, at which time the mandatory quarantine period will have been satisfied, considering that the Library has been closed beginning November 23, 2020. Since all Library services have been "Curbside Only" as of October 20, 2020, no member of the public has been exposed to the virus by a Library employee. For the time being, please do not return any Library materials to the Book Drop. There are no fines. Please meet this very kind Library family- Mackenzie, who just turned 4, her mother Christy and her grandmother Cheryl! A few days ago, Mackenzie celebrated her 4th birthday with a party for her friends, a party that had a very special purpose. Mackenzie loves books! So much so that she asked her friends if they would please bring her a children's book that she would then donate to the Library. And they sure did! In honor of her 4th birthday and with grateful thanks to h...er many wonderful friends, Mackenzie has just donated 70 new children's books to the Library! Mackenzie's family asked us to mention that Mackenzie and many of the children who attended her 4th birthday party are enrolled in the Suburban North Family YMCA's pre-school program. Along with their families, what a splendid teaching moment this has been for Mackenzie and her friends. All of us at the Library say, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! See more
