There's no denying that Covid has turned the world upside down. But, out of corporate offices becoming home offices, came new opportunities for adults with disabilities! #FeelGoodFriday

CCRES 26.02.2021

This #ThankfulThursday, we highlight CCRES PCA team member, Samantha Hampton! Samantha recently joined CCRES and has already made a wonderful impact! Samantha states, "When I applied at CCRES for a PCA position I felt a little anxious at first. Although I’m a mother of one beautiful six year old and I’m the youngest of five siblings, this is the first time I’ve ever been in behavioral health and working with children. Now after working just three weeks I feel as though it’...s like second nature. I absolutely love it and this is only just the beginning! Born and raised in Southern Chester County. I’ve always loved living here and being near most of my family members including my grandparents. My passions are my talented and smart, amazing daughter Savanna and my loving, wonderful best friend, Lance who I recently just married. Some interests I have are being outdoors and spending lots of time at the beach. I like to call it my home away from home or my happy place! I also enjoy spending a lot of time in my husbands food truck we named after our daughter, Savanna’s Tender Love and Fries! This will be our sixth year with the business! 2021 is looking to a great start so far because as mentioned before, I couldn’t be anymore thankful for this new opportunity to help people and work with kids!" Samantha's Case Manager, Chris Walker, said that "Samantha has been helpful and flexible to sub where needed and quick to learn in her new position as a PCA." Samantha, thank you for jumping right in and working hard to make a difference in the lives of the kiddos we support, even with it being a new experience for you! We thank you!
