May 18, 2012 The FDA has notified CDG Environmental, LLC of its approval of Food Contact Notification FCN 001158 for CDG Solution 3000, effective May 18, 2012. The FCN will be applied as a spray or dip, unless precluded by standards of identity in 9 CFR 319, prior to the packaging of food for commercial purposes in accordance with current industry good manufacturing practice. The FCS will be applied in an amount not to exceed 3 ppm residual chlorine dioxide as determined by ...Method 4500-Cl02-# in the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater; 20th ed., 1998, or an equivalent method. CDG Environmental, LLC produces and sells proprietary, highly engineered chlorine dioxide chemistries used for water treatment, food, beverage and numerous municipal and industrial applications. The Company provides CDG Solution 3000, storage-stable chlorine dioxide aqueous solution, for distributed applications.
