Looks like we finally made it to the end of the year. If you are like most people then you are probably happy to say goodbye to 2020. It has been a year like no... other in recent memory. All of us have gone through a lot and are still experiencing the worst this year has to offer us. However, there is hope with a new vaccine and a new administration going into the White House. In our city, we saw some good and bad things happen, but in the end, the city pulled together to get through the worst of it. Here are a few images of the year. Today we formalized a new and exciting partnership on the Girard Avenue Corridor! Centennial Parkside CDC and Fairmount CDC will be partnering to remove trash on Girard Avenue from College Avenue to Belmont Avenue thanks to the Philadelphia Department of Commerce and their Taking Care of Business Program! Many thanks to Councilwoman Cherelle L. Parker for her work in advocating for this great program!

So grateful for the things we've been able to accomplish throughout this trying time with programming. Our youth and facilitators showed up and SHOWED OUT this season! Virtually, via zoom and also when we could social distance properly (according to stipulations). We did so, and met 6 ft. apart ... in person. (Stipend Poetry Workshop - 10 weeks and still going) Kidz Who Cook (taping) **** WE ARE STILL HERE! ALWAYS working to build our community.
