Microsoft has released an update recently that is causing Outlook 2010 and 2013 to crash on Windows 7 and 8.1 PCs. This same update is also causing login issues with touchscreen enabled devices and laptops. In most cases, a system restore to before the 11th fixes the problem. TIP OF THE DAY: There is currently an e-mail making its rounds that resembles an official email from Microsoft, offering a free upgrade to Windows 10 along with an attachment. Once the attachment is opened, an encryption virus takes the computer hostage, demanding payment within a deadline before all files are destroyed. In many cases, there is no way to recover your files other than paying the ransom. It is always a good idea to make sure that your important files are backed up.
