Yesterday's weather for The winter league date #4 was pretty tough, but even with that we had a few hardy souls who weathered the mist and cold to post scores. Score updates will be delayed a day or two with our website operator away for a few days, look for them Wednesday or so. We added a new shooter to the league, a junior shooter, so watch for his scores as Nolan started out really well... As always, thank you to those who came out and joined us yesterday...

Be sure to check the website, www.centralconservationclub.com, for the dates agreed upon for the County summer league. Hopefully there will be no restrictions on it that will change things...

The Winter League and open practice shoot for tomorrow is still on, the fields are being cleared today (Sat) and the parking lot and walkways are mostly done now. Put on some warm clothes and come out for a round or two, open to the public to shoot...

Just a quick hello, hoping the weather hasn't dampened the hunter's resolve. Gonna miss seeing everyone at the dinner this year but better to be safe so we can get together next Christmas..

Safe hunting to the Pa. deer hunters today. Hope to see some results if you can, photos or just a note on how it goes...

Another cold nite under the lites at Central but we did get some hardy soles who braved the cool nite air and shot a couple of rounds. This nite ends our Tuesday shoots for 2020 and, to avoid interfering with upcoming deer season, we will not be holding any shooting events in December. Please see our events listing for 2021 plans and events.

Forgive my tardiness at getting this out. Last evening one of our members, Paul Karpich, was admitted to the hospital with a heart issue that likely will require open-heart surgery. I currently have no other details but ask that everyone keep him in your thoughts as he works thru this.

Today's shoot is a go, rich will be there by 3:15 or so to get the equipment started.

In light of the recent upsurge of Covid-19 cases, both locally and nation-wide, a decision was made at our monthly club meeting to cancel this year's Christmas party/dinner. A lot of thought was put into this decision but safety was the deciding factor. The party was listed in the newsletter that goes out to members during the renewal process, something that is ongoing at this time, so it is a change made since that was sent out.
