The following is a list of answers to Frequently Asked Questions:... Are you Open? Our offices will remain open part time for emergency and urgent patient visits on a limited basis. Urgent patient visits include those patients with potentially vision threatening active eye problems like glaucoma, active Macular degeneration, corneal infections, etc. Is There an on-call Doctor Available for urgent issues? There is always an on call doctor available. a. For Tri-County patients please call 215-355-4428 b. For Century Eye Care patients please call 215-781-2020 c. For Eye Associates of Bucks County patients please call 215-757-6200 Can We still see a Doctor Virtually if we don’t want to come to office? Yes, but not for every issue. We are pleased to offer & schedule virtual video based Tele-Health appointments. This is a billable service sent to your insurance plan. Please call the appropriate office phone number to potentially arrange a Telehealth visit with your doctor using your smart phone (or computer with a camera) if you have an issue that can be addressed without physically coming to the office. I need Contact Lenses, how do I get them? Contact lenses may be reordered either by calling the appropriate telephone number (follow the prompts to leave a message in the appropriate voicemail box) or by sending a secure patient portal message through our electronic health records system. Please allow a few days for your order to be completed. Your contact lenses will be direct shipped for a nominal fee. Can I get a routine eye exam? Routine examinations and elective surgical procedures will be rescheduled promptly after the crisis has passed per state government recommendations My surgery was already scheduled, can I still proceed? No, all elective surgery has been postponed until the state lifts restrictions on non-urgent outpatient surgery. If you have surgery scheduled in the summer, it is still tentatively on the schedule but no decision has been made beyond April 2020 if these cases will proceed. In the meantime please stay safe and take the appropriate precautions to remain healthy.
